For Copenhagen's sustainable catering kitchen we are looking for a committed, positive and skilled chef

The nine old wooden houses between Vesterbro and Sydhavnen are currently undergoing extensive restoration and will be revived this spring as an ecological village and gastronomic hub. In one of the barns we have established a new production kitchen for the catering company noon, from where we deliver company lunches to companies in Greater Copenhagen with menus developed by star chefs from all over the world.

As a chef, it will be your responsibility to create inviting dishes for our guests to enjoy - based on local seasonal produce (we work with Aarstiderne to source ingredients) and food made from scratch. We believe that a good working culture is based on respect and a constructive tone, so your responsibilities will include contributing to a positive culture where we are good hosts to each other, our guests and the planet. You will report to the Head Chef and work closely with the person responsible for gastronomic development at BaneGaarden, Karlos Ponte, as well as the rest of the team at BaneGaarden.

Your profile:

  • Possibly. Qualified chef with relevant experience in the restaurant/catering industry
  • Well-developed sense of quality and skilled taste buds
  • Good team player and positive mind
  • Efficient, loyal and responsible

We offer an exciting workplace with an informal atmosphere, a steep learning curve and high ceilings - and daytime working. You will be part of a dedicated team with high ambitions and big dreams. The workplace is in two of the warehouses at BaneGaarden on Otto Busses Vej 45, Copenhagen, between Vesterbro and Sydhavnen

Are you the one we are looking for? Send an e-mail with your CV and a letter of motivation to job@nooncph.dk (write "kok non" in the subject field). We will hold interviews on an ongoing basis and recruit as soon as possible.
