Ascension holiday at BaneGaarden with food and culture program

Ascension Day celebrations are just around the corner and we invite all of Copenhagen out to our spacious green oasis where you can lower your shoulders and take part in our courtyard atmosphere. Guests can enjoy daily happenings as we hold special opening hours and organize food and cultural experiences throughout the week.

Sourdough baker Perron serves brunch and is debuting a pizza and wine night, where you can feast on various pizzas from the stone oven. In addition, you are always welcome to sit down at the picnic tables with your favorite dish from the food stalls, which are open Wed-Sun.

The weekend offers a variety of cultural events, all of which are free to attend. Listen to our live DJ set, enjoy a concert experience, shop at the flea market and shake your hips to some salsa in the wooden barns.

Organic food market raises ambitions

This year, BaneGaarden's food market has raised the bar when the various stalls open with organic street food from the top shelf. Taste crispy, handmade arepas from South American favorite PMY, rock-solid Mediterranean food from PHAGO and the famous winner of Lakes Streetfood 2022 with mouthwatering merguez pita.

Food stall opening hours are regular: Fri 14-19 and Sat-Sun 12-19.
