🎬 Summer Cinema is back at BaneGaarden!
The big screen will be up again all summer long, and we invite you to enjoy movies under the open sky, surrounded by greenery and historic wooden barns, right in the heart of Jernbanebyen.
This year, there are movies for all ages—admission is free, and all you have to do is show up. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to find a spot. 🌿
🍻 While the movie plays, we’ll keep the bar open with cold and hot beverages—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—and our tempting food stalls will serve 100% organic street food.
👉 Please note that you may not bring your own food or drinks. See more answers to frequently asked questions at the bottom of the article.

FAQ
Do you still show movies at the outdoor cinema even if it rains—and is there a sheltered area where you can sit?
- Yes, we screen summer movies in all kinds of weather. We can't guarantee a sheltered spot, so we recommend that you check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
- You may not bring your own food or drinks. During all our film screenings, our bar and at least one food stand will be open, so you can purchase food, snacks, and beverages
Is there room for everyone?
- Unfortunately, we can't guarantee seats for everyone. We operate on a "first come, first served" basis, so we recommend that you arrive early to secure a seat.
Am I guaranteed a seat if I booked my ticket through the website?
- No, a free ticket from our website does not guarantee a seat—and we don’t check tickets at the entrance either.
Are there chairs at the Summer Cinema?
- We have plenty of benches at Solpladsen, but you're welcome to bring your own blankets, folding chairs, or other items, within reason.
What language are the movies in?
– The movies are shown in their original language with Danish subtitles.
